Over the last 11 years under his leadership the agency has achieved double digit growth every single year. Owned and Operated one of the first insurance franchise distribution networks in the United States in a partnership with a Major Retail Giant. In 1999 was awarded the “Franchisee of the Year” award of aforementioned distribution network. In many circles he has been described as a “marketing genius” and a fierce on-line marketer. He serves on the board of the Macomb County Independent Insurance Agents, is an active member of the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents as well as the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. He was recognized as an Academic All-American while competing in ice hockey at Buffalo State College.
Mr. Hannigan graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Business Management & Marketing.
Martin G. Hannigan, CPA, CIC, Co-Founder & CFO: Held officer positions as CFO of major multi-state contruction companies for over 25 years. Mr. Hannigan graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting & Finance. He also carries the prestigious designation of a Certified Insurance Counselor.
Andrew Kiras, Vice President of Business Development: Andrew brings a wealth of experience in the online marketing industry, primarily in strategy development and analysis, business development, and revenue management. As Vice President of Business Development at RateElert.com, he is responsible for developing and managing relationships with insurance companies, structuring partnership agreements with agent distribution partners, and working with lead integration programs for our agents.
